Manufacturer description

The Scammell Highwayman was used extensively by the Showman fraternity and this release is based on a vehicle used by P &V McIntyre from Kent, complete with telephone and vehicle number. Decorated in dark blue and red with cream roof and registered XXW 907, the model has also been given a roof beacon. Carrying the name Old Peculier, the lettering also advertises Mac's Amusement on Tour. Extensive masking operations in pale blue, gold, beige, black, white, orange and silver complete the model.

Oxford Diecast Old Peculier Scammell Highwayman Ballast is a 1:76 scale die‑cast model produced by Oxford Diecast (manufacturer part number 76SH004). The model represents a British Railways vehicle from the late crest era.

The vehicle is based on a Scammell Highwayman used by the showman P & V McIntyre of Kent. It is finished in dark blue and red with a cream roof, bears the registration XXW 907 and carries a roof beacon.
