The iconic double decker Routemaster bus, so often associated with London and arguably a tourist attraction in itself, is seen here fulfilling a role with Blackpool Transport, registered ALD 966B from the 1960s. Decorated in the red and white livery of the day, our bus is working as the No. 40, taking passengers to Blackpool's Tower, Pleasure Beach and Pontins. Its advertising panels are promoting the handy Travel Card for use on the bus and the train printed in red, green and black.
