Manufacturer description

Bedford's QLD was the general service cargo truck version of their QL prototype and was built during WWII to carry 12 persons including the driver in their military role. Here we see it as deployed on the Western Front in 1944, carrying the allied star on the cab roof and the RAF roundel on each side of the canvas back. The body is decorated in a dark brown and olive drab camouflage colour scheme. The service's number RAF 105220 is printed in white below the radiator grille and again with the RAF roundel below the stretched 'canvas' back.

Oxford Diecast Bedford QLD RAF 2nd Tactical A F – 84 Group 1944 is a die‑cast replica of the Bedford QLD cargo truck used by the Royal Air Force. The model is identified by the manufacturer part number 76QLD007 and represents the period denoted as British Railways Early Crest.

The Bedford QLD was the general‑service cargo version of the earlier QL prototype. It was built during the Second World War to transport up to twelve personnel, including the driver, in a military capacity. The replica depicts the vehicle as it would have appeared on the Western Front in 1944, with the Allied star mounted on the cab roof and RAF roundels on each side of the canvas‑covered rear. The body is finished in a dark brown and olive‑drab camouflage colour scheme, and the service number RAF 105220 is painted in white below the radiator grille and again beneath the stretched canvas rear, accompanied by an RAF roundel.
