Manufacturer description

Bedford OWB - Portsmouth This model is based on an actual vehicle that has been rebuilt and fully restored. Registered CTP 200 in 1944, the Duple B32F bus features a glazed destination box, which shows it heading in the direction of Tipner. In a drab grey of the wartime period, the bodywork is enhanced in red, with the Portsmouth Corporation crest on the sides. Additional detail extends to the transport manager's contact address on the near side towards the front and the number 170 across the rear emergency door. The detailed interior reveals replica 'wooden' slatted seats in brown and the vehicle is finished off with chrome work to the front and sides. Another particular detail to note is the authentic small headlight configuration on the front of the bus, in keeping with the real thing.
