Manufacturer description

The third generation Morris Oxford was designed by Sir Alec Issigonis and introduced in 1956. The two- tone paint option was also introduced the same year. Before production ended in 1959, just over 58,000 vehicles were made at the company's Cowley works, when it was superseded by the Morris Oxford VI. The four door family saloon benefited from an upgrade in 1957 when it appeared with a new fluted bonnet and small rear fins. Our replica, registered YTO 327 is painted in a grey green/sage green colour scheme with the same grey green interior. Silver masking includes the signature Morris Oxford radiator grille and wheel hubs.

Oxford Diecast Morris Oxford III in Sage Green Twilight Grey is a die‑cast replica of the third‑generation Morris Oxford family saloon. The model bears the manufacturer part number 76MO007 and is registered as YTO 327. It features a two‑tone paint finish of grey‑green and sage green, matching interior detailing, silver masking, the characteristic Morris Oxford radiator grille and wheel hubs.

The original Morris Oxford III was designed by Sir Alec Issigonis and launched in 1956, with the two‑tone colour option introduced the same year. Production at the Cowley works continued until 1959, when just over 58,000 units had been built, after which the model was replaced by the Morris Oxford VI. In 1957 the factory version received an updated fluted bonnet and small rear fins, details that are reflected in this replica. The period represented by the model is British Railways Late Crest.
