The Morris Eight Series E represented a major upgrade of the original Series Eight model and was produced between 1938 and 1948, during which time over 120,000 were sold. It came in several formats and our Oxford version is based on the 4-door saloon, registered KDE 122. Design-wise, the series E was longer, wider and heavier with internal refinements like a parcel tray the length of the dashboard and an inbuilt luggage compartment. The car had a four speed gearbox with synchromesh in 2nd, 3rd and top gear and had a top speed of 58 mph.
Decorated in grey with black masking to the mudguards and wheel hubs, our model also has a black interior. The signature radiator grille and external trim to bumpers, door handles and the wheel centre boss are all silver which brightens up this little motor of the wartime period.

Oxford Diecast Morris Eight E Saloon – Grey
The model, part number 76MES007, replicates the Morris Eight Series E 4‑door saloon (registration KDE 122) as it appeared in the British Railways Early Crest period. The original Series E was produced from 1938 to 1948, with more than 120 000 units sold. It measures the longer, wider and heavier dimensions of the production car and includes period‑accurate features such as a parcel tray running the length of the dashboard, an inbuilt luggage compartment and a four‑speed gearbox with synchromesh on second, third and top gear. The real vehicle achieved a top speed of 58 mph.
The die‑cast replica is finished in grey with black masking on the mudguards and wheel hubs, and it has a black interior. Silver highlights are applied to the radiator grille, bumper trim, door handles and wheel centre boss, reflecting the original wartime styling.
