The model depicts a Morris Eight E Series Tourer from the late 1930s. It is finished in a rich Oxford blue body, with grey upholstery and an ivory tonneau cover. The vehicle is shown with the registration FF 5796 and is configured to carry four occupants. It is a two‑door open tourer with dark blue wheels fitted with silver hub caps, a silver‑coloured radiator grille, and silver‑finished bumpers, door handles and headlights. The Morris emblem is displayed on the front of the bonnet.
The real Morris Eight E Series Tourer was manufactured between 1938 and 1948, with more than 120 000 units built by Morris in the United Kingdom. Due to its popularity in Australia, production continued there after the UK model ceased.
