The Morris Marina was dubbed one of the worst cars ever produced but despite that, it was really popular during its lifetime and came in several body styles and engine sizes. Based on the 1.8 Super version, registration number AET 300L it comes in Harvest Gold, which was one of the most popular colour schemes of the 1970s. The front sidelights and rear lights are picked out in orange/silver and orange/red respectively and a high number of masking operations replicate the silver (chrome) finish of the real thing. Note particularly the silver trim detail on the wheel rims and the front grille. This model epitomises the four-door saloon of the era, despite its reputation in the real world!

Oxford Diecast Harvest Gold Morris Marina – 1:76 Scale
The model, part number 76MAR001, represents a 1:76 scale replica of a 1970s Morris Marina four‑door saloon. It is based on the 1.8 Super version with the registration number AET 300L and is finished in Harvest Gold, a popular colour scheme of the era. The front sidelights are highlighted in orange/silver, the rear lights in orange/red, and extensive masking reproduces the chrome‑like silver finish on the wheel rims and front grille.
The kit includes detailed bodywork and a high level of masking to capture the original vehicle’s trim. Although the real Morris Marina was often criticised, this die‑cast version conveys the typical design of the period’s British saloon cars.
