Prestigious and high performance, the fourth generation of the BMW M3 dates back to its introduction at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show. Designated as a compact executive sports car, the 2-door E92 coupé came with a new 4.0L V8 engine producing 414 bhp and the six-speed gearbox came as standard. A facelift in 2011 saw some minor changes such as interior trim pieces and LED rear tail-lights.
Our 1:76 scale model (6cm in length) of the M3 comes with all the flair of the original and makes its fourth appearance in a bright racy red, which looks particularly good on this vehicle. The sunroof is black, as are the distinctive sporty wheels. Adding to the dramatic look, the interior including the seats is also finished in black. Our M3 is registered YC62 BTF from 2012. The distinctive BMW badge sits on the edge of the coupe's wide bonnet and the boot lid, which also features the M3 marque printed in red, blue and silver.
BMW were to discontinue production of the attractive M3 in 2013 in favour of the new M4 model.
