Our hardy little Land Rover appears everywhere; it has already been part of our 1:43 scale series. Here it is in smaller scale in exactly the same livery, as used by the RAF and with hard back, decorated in the Service's signature blue, even down to the wheels and masked with very bright yellow roof. Military markings include the number plate 64 AA 28 which appears on the offside rear and the nearside front wing. The front offside upper wing features the RAF roundel in its usual red, white and blue, together with the number 2 in black/yellow below. Note too, that this Land Rover features the radiator grille of the 80 inches version.

Oxford Diecast Land Rover Series 1 88 Hard‑Back RAF
Manufacturer part number: 76LAN188021. The model represents the British Railways Early Crest period and is produced in 1:72 scale.
The vehicle is finished in the Royal Air Force service colour scheme, with the distinctive RAF blue on the body, a bright yellow roof, and a hard‑back roof. Military markings include the number plate 64 AA 28 on the off‑side rear and the nearside front wing. The off‑side upper wing bears the RAF roundel in red, white and blue and the numeral 2 in black and yellow underneath. The radiator grille matches that of the 80‑inch version of the Land Rover.
This Land Rover model is a smaller‑scale version of the 1:43 scale vehicle already available in the Oxford Diecast range.
