The cab had two front panel designs to provide the Morris J2 and Austin 152 version which was a policy adopted by BMC. The van could be specified with either sliding or hinged cab doors, single or sliding rear doors. By 1965 the Morris front panel was dropped and the Austin front panel was adopted for both versions. This minibus version comes in the colours of the Civil Defence with the original Morris front.

Oxford Diecast Civil Defence Morris J2 Minibus is a 1:76 scale model produced by Oxford Diecast. The model is identified by the manufacturer part number 76JM021 and represents a British Railways vehicle from the late British Railways crest period.
The original Morris J2 range was announced in June 1956. It featured a 7 ft 6 in wheelbase and was rated at 15 cwt. The standard van was priced at £554, while the 12‑seat minibus version cost £625, with an optional heater priced at £11. The cab was offered with two front panel designs to accommodate both the Morris J2 and the Austin 152, a policy used by BMC. Early models could be specified with either sliding or hinged cab doors and with single or sliding rear doors. By 1965 the Morris front panel had been withdrawn and the Austin front panel was used on both versions. This die‑cast minibus is painted in the Civil Defence colour scheme but retains the original Morris front panel.
The model is intended for collectors of British railway and civil defence memorabilia and is supplied in accurate 1:76 scale, reproducing the distinctive features and livery of the historic Morris J2 minibus.
