Manufacturer description

Looking for the Oxford Diecast Jaguar CX75 in Silver? As concept cars go, this is up with the very top few, at a price to match! Designed and built as a hybrid-electric, 2 seat car produced by Jaguar in partnership with Williams F1, the C-XJ5 was unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show to an awestruck audience of petrolheads, as a vision for the future! The concept Jaguar is capable of producing 778 horsepower through four YASA electric motors, each of which drives one wheel. The batteries driving these motors are recharged using two diesel-fed micro gas turbines.

In May 2011, Jaguar announced plans to build a maximum of 250 cars over a two year period, commencing in 2013, which would retail at between £700,000 and £900,000 each. However, the company announced at the end of 2012 that due to the global economic crisis, it was cancelling production. However, one example did make the big screen when it starred in Spectre, the 24th James Bond film, driven not by 007 who favoured an Aston Martin DB10 but by one of his adversaries Mr Hinx.

Our 1:76 scale replica is certainly much easier to obtain and at a realistic price! Our C-X75 is decorated in a superb silver which shows off its lines and detail to perfection, at the same time oozing unbelievable opulence. The futuristic Jaguar registration plate reads simply C-X16 to the rear and the classic Jaguar badge sits proudly in the centre of the radiator grille. The interior is completely black, adding to the aura of this amazing vehicle.

Oxford Diecast Jaguar CX75 Silver is a 1:76 scale model produced by Oxford Diecast. The item carries the manufacturer part number 76JCX75001 and represents the period of railway rebuilding.

The model depicts the Jaguar C‑X75 concept, a hybrid‑electric two‑seat car developed in partnership with Williams F1 and unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 2010. The concept was designed to produce 778 horsepower via four YASA electric motors, each driving a wheel, and the batteries were to be recharged by two diesel‑fed micro‑gas turbines. In May 2011 Jaguar announced a limited production run of up to 250 units, planned to commence in 2013 with a retail price between £700,000 and £900,000. The programme was cancelled in December 2012 because of the global economic downturn. One example of the concept appeared in the film Spectre, the 24th James Bond movie, driven by the antagonist Mr Hinx.

The die‑cast replica is finished in silver, features a black interior, a central Jaguar badge on the radiator grille and a rear registration plate reading C‑X16. It is marketed at a realistic price and is intended to replicate the design details of the original concept vehicle.
