Manufacturer description

The two-tone Ford Zodiac Mk II was launched in 1956 as the upmarket version of the Ford Zephyr and produced at the Ford Dagenham plant. The differences between the two models included many external features, faithfully copied on the 1:76 scale Oxford replica. Note the wide front grille and elongated tail fins in particular.

Our 4-door Zodiac comes in one of the popular colour schemes of the time, a rich maroon and off white with lots of contrasting chrome to bumpers, door handles, radiator and wheels, as well as a chrome strip running along the waist. Registered WDM 842, a final flourish sees the Zodiac 'signature' printed on the rear wing section and across the boot.

Oxford Diecast Ford Zodiac Mk II Imperial Maroon/Ermine White is a 1:76 scale replica of the British-built Ford Zodiac Mk II produced from 1956. The model bears the manufacturer part number 76FZ002 and represents the British Railways Late Crest period.

The die‑cast car reproduces the distinctive two‑tone livery popular in the 1950s, consisting of a deep maroon body with ermine white panels. It features extensive chrome detailing on the front grille, bumpers, door handles, radiator and wheels, plus a chrome strip along the waistline. The four‑door version is equipped with a wide front grille and elongated tail fins, mirroring the original’s external styling.

The vehicle is marked as the former railway service car WDM 842. The Zodiac’s “signature” is printed on the rear wing and across the boot, completing the accurate representation of this historic British automobile.
