The Ford Galaxy is a large multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) which was first produced by Ford Europe in 1995. Three generations on, this 7-seater car with its 5-door, front engine, front wheel drive configuration is a firm favourite, particularly with families. It was first designed as a joint venture between Ford and the Volkswagen Group and produced in Portugal between 1995 and 2006.

Our 1:76 scale replica is based on the second generation vehicle, which was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2006 and was larger than its predecessor. This time there was no VW Group involvement and the cars, produced between 2006 and 2015, were assembled in Belgium. Distinctive features now included a trapezoidal grille, large wheel arches and angular headlights. A choice of diesel or two petrol fuel options were made available. Registered BG56 YFC from 2006, our model is true to the original and replicates these refinements perfectly. Decorated in pale blue, the window pillars, window surrounds and bumpers are masked black. The sunroof is also given a black tinted finish. Inside, the seats are a dark greeny- blue and the remaining interior is black.

The real vehicle is a large multi‑purpose vehicle (MPV) first produced by Ford Europe in 1995. The model is based on the second‑generation Galaxy introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2006, a version that was built in Belgium between 2006 and 2015 after the earlier joint venture with the Volkswagen Group ended.

The replica is scaled to 1:76 and reproduces the second‑generation design with a trapezoidal grille, pronounced wheel arches and angular headlights. It is finished in ice blue with black‑masked window pillars, surrounds and bumpers, and a black‑tinted sunroof. The interior shows dark green‑blue seats and black trim. The vehicle is shown with the registration BG56 YFC, reflecting the 2006 onward specification.
