Manufacturer description

The Vauxhall Victor was a large family car produced by Vauxhall Motors, the British subsidiary of General Motors, from 1957-1976. The FB version with its cleaner lines was introduced in 1961 and produced until 1964. It came as either a 4 door saloon, as modelled here, or a 5 door estate car, with manual 4-speed gearbox. It was solidly built and well proportioned and during its lifetime, it achieved over 328.000 sales, including export to the USA. Our replica in two-tone Primrose with White roof is the De Luxe model, registered VD 644B. The fresh colour scheme is offset by lots of chrome work and a pale grey interior. Note the Vauxhall marque on the front of the car, the Victor wording on the front wing and De Luxe on the offside rear wing, all detailed in silver.

Oxford Diecast Vauxhall FB Victor “Alaska” – 1:76 scale model. The replica carries the manufacturer part number 76FB005 and represents the British Rail Blue livery used before the introduction of TOPS.

The original Vauxhall Victor FB was produced by Vauxhall Motors, the UK arm of General Motors, between 1961 and 1964. It was offered as a four‑door saloon or a five‑door estate and featured a manual four‑speed gearbox. Over its production run the model sold more than 328 000 units, including exports to the United States.

This die‑cast version reproduces the De Luxe specification in a two‑tone Primrose body with a white roof, chassis number VD 644B. The finish includes extensive chrome detailing, a pale grey interior, and silver‑coloured badges reading “Vauxhall”, “Victor” and “De Luxe”.
