Manufacturer description

The Jaguar D Type was a sports racing car produced by Jaguar Cars between 1954 and 1957. Our previous releases have seen it in highly successful racing colour schemes with famous drivers of the day behind the wheel. Here it comes in simple dark green with ivory interior. Note the distinctive one-piece wrap around windscreen and equally distinctive tail fins. Registered LUD 222L, a final detail comprises the famous Jaguar badge above the radiator and above the rear front number plate.

Oxford Diecast Jaguar D Type – Green

Manufacturer part number 76DTYP004 is a die‑cast model representing the Jaguar D Type as it would have appeared in the British Railways Late Crest period. The real Jaguar D Type was produced by Jaguar Cars between 1954 and 1957 and was used for sports racing.

The model is finished in a simple dark green lacquer with an ivory interior. It reproduces the distinctive one‑piece wrap‑around windscreen, the characteristic tail fins and the Jaguar badge above the radiator. The registration plate shown is LUD 222L and the rear front number plate is also represented.

This die‑cast is part of Oxford Diecast’s range of historic motor‑sport collectibles and is intended for collectors of British automotive memorabilia.
