This distinctive Dennis RS Fire Appliance has been produced in collaboration with popular YouTuber Lawrie’s Mechanical Marvels, who has proudly owned the real vehicle, affectionately named Jupiter, for nearly a decade. The full-size fire engine has featured across many of Lawrie’s videos, giving enthusiasts a rare chance to see this classic appliance up close and in action.
Finished in striking red with a contrasting silver rear body and carrying registration UCL 492W, this 1:76 scale replica captures the character of the preserved vehicle associated with the Mid Suffolk Light Railway. It makes a particularly fitting addition for heritage railway layouts, emergency vehicle collectors and anyone who enjoys authentic modern preservation subjects.
This release has been produced in limited numbers, and early demand suggests it is likely to sell out quickly. Collectors interested in this unique collaboration are encouraged to secure one while availability lasts.
If you haven’t already, take a look at Lawrie’s channel for a closer look at the real Jupiter and the preservation story behind it.
