Commer Cars Ltd, founded in 1905, was a British manufacturer of commercial vehicles from that date right up to 1979, including light vans, medium to heavy commercial trucks, military vehicles and buses. The company had mixed fortunes and was sold on several times, firstly to Humber before becoming part of the Rootes Group. Rootes were also taken over by Chrysler in the 1970s when the Commer name was replaced by Dodge. The Q25 was launched in the late 40's.

Oxford Diecast Pickfords Commer Q25 – 1:76 Scale is a die‑cast model produced under the Oxford Diecast brand. The model carries the manufacturer part number 76CM002 and represents a Commer Q25 truck from the British Railways Early Crest era.
The Q25 was introduced in the late 1940s by Commer Cars Ltd, a British commercial‑vehicle maker founded in 1905. Commer produced a range of light vans, medium and heavy trucks, military vehicles and buses until 1979, undergoing several ownership changes – first being sold to Humber, then becoming part of the Rootes Group, and later being acquired by Chrysler in the 1970s when the Commer name was replaced by Dodge.
The die‑cast model is presented in 1:76 scale, suitable for collectors of railway and commercial‑vehicle memorabilia, and includes the Pickfords livery typical of the era.
