An RAC liveried vehicle on the Bedford CF Van which Bedford – a subsidiary of Vauxhall – had introduced in 1969. The CF was intended to rival the Ford Transit and due to its versatility it was one of the most popular light commercials of its day, lasting in production until 1986.It came with longitudinal front engine, rear wheel drive and transmission of 2/4/5 manual to 3-speed General Motors automatic.
Our CF RAC van features the original RAC colour scheme - a real blast from the past with its rich blue body colour and contrasting white masking to the roof and wide flash along the van sides. A splash of contrasting red printing highlights the Services lettering on the sides and rear of our van, registered OYP 215L. The interior is black and the van is rounded off with an orange roof beacon positioned just behind the cabin windows.

The Oxford Diecast Bedford CF Van RAC is a model of a Bedford CF van, produced by the British model manufacturer Oxford Diecast.
This model represents the Bedford CF van as it would have appeared in service with the Royal Automobile Club (RAC) when it was still operated by British Rail, specifically during the period of the TOPS (Total Operations Processing System) era.
The model is manufactured in 1:76 scale, a popular scale among British railway model enthusiasts.
