The PA Crestas had American looks and over 80,000 of them were built. The Vauxhall Cresta Friary Estate was built between 1960-1962, converted by Friary of Basingtoke in Hampshire.

The model represents the British Railways late‑crest period. It depicts a Vauxhall Cresta Friary Estate, a car that was manufactured between 1960 and 1962 and subsequently converted by Friary of Basingstoke in Hampshire.
The original PA Crestas were built in an American style, with a total production run of more than 80,000 examples. The die‑cast replica is finished in blue and measures approximately one hundred and fifty millimetres in length.
