Manufacturer description

The Bentley State Limousine is an official state car which Bentley produced in 2002 on the occasion of Her Majesty the Queen's Golden Jubilee the same year. There are only two in existence, both belonging to the Queen and housed in the Royal Mews, making it arguably the rarest car in the world.

The Bentley has a mount on its roof for an illuminated Royal coat-of-arms and the Royal Standard. When the Queen is on board, the Bentley "Flying B" bonnet mascot is replaced by the Queen's personal mascot of Saint George slaying the dragon or a single standing Lion, which is used when Her Majesty is in Scotland. The limousines are equipped with flashing blue lights, two in the grille and two on the front bumper. There is no registration plate on the Bentley State Limousine. And like all the Royal state limousines, the colour scheme is Black over Royal Claret. An interesting detail is that in January 2009, it was announced that both Bentley State Limousines would be converted to run on biofuel.

This 1:76 scale model is just over 8cm in length comes on a plinth. It is a great gift to give to any one who loves the Royal Family, or loves Bentleys. This vehicle can also be found in the7 Piece Royal Family Set.

The development of this Bentley took some years. as to get measurements was painstaking. We show here some CAD from the development process.

Oxford Diecast Bentley State Limousine HM The Queen
Manufacturer Part Number: 76BSL001

The Bentley State Limousine was produced by Bentley in 2002 to mark Her Majesty the Queen’s Golden Jubilee. Only two examples were built; both are owned by the Queen and are housed in the Royal Mews, making them among the rarest cars in the world. The vehicle is finished in a black over royal claret colour scheme, carries an illuminated Royal coat‑of‑arms and the Royal Standard on the roof, and is fitted with flashing blue lights on the grille and front bumper. When the Queen is aboard, the standard “Flying B” bonnet mascot is replaced by a Saint George and the Dragon figure, or a single standing lion when she is in Scotland. No registration plate is displayed. In January 2009 it was announced that both limousines would be converted to run on bio‑fuel.

This Oxford Diecast model is produced in 1:76 scale and measures just over 8 cm in length. It is supplied on a plinth and is intended as a suitable gift for enthusiasts of the Royal Family or of Bentley automobiles. The model is also available as part of a seven‑piece Royal Family set.

The development of the model involved extensive measurement work and computer‑aided design, with CAD imagery produced from side, lower‑side and rear angles.

Oxford Diecast has manufactured more than 50 million die‑cast vehicles worldwide as at 2020.
