Manufacturer description

The BMW 02 series comprised a range of compact executive cars produced between 1966 and 1977, during which time over 137,000 were sold. . The variants included a 2-door saloon, 2-door cabriolet and 3-door hatchback. The BMW 2002 model was given a more powerful 2 litre engine, including the turbo (tii) version, capable of 185 km or 115 mph.

Here at Oxford, we introduce our new model based on the 2-door version registered CAP 197K from 1971/72. Looking at the rear, you will also see the turbo tii badge indicating its high performance capabilities. It was a very attractive looking car with a distinctive shape and in its flamboyant bright orange colour scheme and black interior and silver trim, combined with its speed potential, it must have attracted a lot of attention at the time.

The signature BMW radiator grille is finished in black and silver and the blue/black and white BMW badge sits at the front edge of the bonnet.
