Manufacturer description

In real life, the Bedford OX was a short-wheelbase version of the Bedford OY, designed for a 30 cwt payload, often linked to a semi-trailer comprising a trailer back without a front axle but supported by the tractor unit axle. The vehicle here is seen in the famous red and white Wynns livery from South Wales, whose capacity for carrying gigantic loads is legendary. The red and black trailer has two spare wheels mounted on the front, so you can add your own 1:76 scale loads! Registered DDW 41, the trailer features two name boards in yellow out of red on each side and the Wynns name is also printed on the cab doors.

Oxford Diecast Bedford OX Queen Mary Trailer Wynns – 1:76 Scale

Manufacturer part number: 76BD012. The model depicts a British Railways early crest period vehicle. In reality the Bedford OX was a short‑wheelbase derivative of the Bedford OY, designed for a 30 cwt payload and commonly coupled to a semi‑trailer that lacked a front axle and was supported by the tractor unit’s axle.

The die‑cast set presents the vehicle in the distinctive red and white Wynns livery from South Wales, noted for its capacity to transport very large loads. The accompanying trailer is finished in red and black, features two spare wheels mounted at the front, and is intended to accommodate 1:76‑scale loads of the buyer’s choice. The trailer is registered DDW 41 and bears two yellow name boards on a red background on each side, with the Wynns name also printed on the cab doors.
