Manufacturer description

In real life, one of the Austin Seven RN variants came in the shape of a van, a converted RN saloon but an invaluable and popular small commercial vehicle in its time. A two-seater, the rear section was stripped out to take whatever deliveries were the order of the day. The front was very basic and the two bucket seats look a bit uncomfortable although they were undoubtedly leather. This Austin RN Van replica is decorated in a primrose body colour with contrasting black roof and chassis. Registered JC 655, it comes completely plain on the sides with two silvered windows on the rear doors. A black coachline extends centrally from the front doors along the length of the bonnet side and all other exterior trim including wheels, running boards, exhaust and headlights is finished in black. The windscreen wipers, door handles and wheel inserts are highlighted in silver. Inside the van, the dashboard is also finished in a primrose colour scheme, the door trim is brown and the remaining interior is black.

Oxford Diecast Austin Seven RN Van – Primrose, 1:76 Scale

Manufacturer part number 76ASV001 represents a model of the Austin Seven RN van, a small commercial vehicle derived from the RN saloon. The model depicts a two‑seater van with the rear passenger compartment removed to allow for deliveries, as was typical of the real vehicle.

The replica is finished in a primrose body colour with a contrasting black roof and chassis. It bears the registration JC 655 and features plain side panels with two silvered rear‑door windows. A black coachline runs centrally from the front doors along the bonnet side, and all exterior trim – including wheels, running boards, exhaust and headlights – is black, with windscreen wipers, door handles and wheel inserts highlighted in silver.

The interior presents a primrose‑coloured dashboard, brown door trim and black furnishings elsewhere. The model is intended to represent the period of the British railway “Big Four” (LNER, LMS, GWR and SR).
