Oxford Diecast Grey/Silver Arm Sidd Star Sap is a 1:76 scale model representing a British Railways Late Crest carriage. The model carries the manufacturer part number 76AS004.
The original Star Sapphire saloon prototype was constructed on a converted 346 Sapphire chassis. Production models that succeeded the prototype entered service in late 1958, replacing the earlier Sapphire design.
These carriages remained in regular use until the summer of 1960. During the production run more than 900 units were built. The model depicts the two‑tone livery, with a dark grey body over a silver roof.
