The original Anglia 105E entered service in 1959 and, after production ceased in 1967, more than 1,000,000 units had been built. It was capable of a top speed of 73.8 mph and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 26.9 seconds. Variants of the vehicle included an estate version and a panel van; a number were later converted into ice‑cream vans. This die‑cast model depicts the van in the popular Tonibell Blue livery, with the driver’s position shown as climbing over the seat into the raised rear compartment used for serving ice‑cream.
