With a top speed of 73.8 mph it could accelerate from 0-60 mph in 26.9 seconds. Variants included an estate and a panel van. Several were converted for use as Ice Cream vans and this model is shown in the very popular Walls livery. Oxford Diecast Walls Ice Cream High Top – 1:76 scale model.
Manufacturer part number: 76ANG003.
The liveried vehicle represents the pre‑TOPS British Rail Blue period.
The model is based on the Ford Anglia 105E, which was produced from 1959 until 1967 with a total output of over one million units. The car had a top speed of 73.8 mph and could accelerate from 0‑60 mph in 26.9 seconds. Factory variants included an estate version and a panel van.
Some Anglias were converted into ice‑cream vans; this die‑cast example shows the popular Walls livery. The conversion raised the rear section to allow the sale of ice cream, and the driver accessed the serving area by climbing over the seat into the rear of the van.
