The K8 (3 Way) Van commenced production in 1947 and the van cost £535. It earned the name 3-Way due to the door configuration. To assist loading and unloading, it featured double doors on the near and offside, as well as opening near doors. With a payload of 25 cwt and a short wheelbase, it proved a very nippy vehicle for delivery purposes, where frequent drop-off was necessary. The van was discontinued in 1954, by which time over 26,500 had been manufactured. Popular for local deliveries this vehicle was used for local deliveries of Pink Paraffin.

Oxford Diecast Pink Paraffin Austin K8 Three‑Way Van is a 1:76 scale model representing a British Railways late‑crest van. The model is identified by the manufacturer part number 76AK002 and reproduces the distinctive pink‑paraffin livery used for local delivery vehicles.
The real K8 (3‑Way) van entered service in 1947, costing £535 at the time. It was called a three‑way van because of its door arrangement: double doors on the near and off‑side and an opening near door, facilitating loading and unloading. With a payload of 25 cwt and a short wheelbase, the van was noted for its agility in frequent local deliveries, particularly of pink paraffin. Production ceased in 1954 after more than 26 500 units had been built.
