Manufacturer description

The version of the AEC Matador Wrecker takes on the bright yellow/red livery of Bradford City Transport, complete with City crest on the sides and above the cab window at the front. The decoration also includes the depot address of Forster Square, Bradford with its General Manager, Mr E Deakin, M.Inst.T, printed in black just behind the rear nearside door. The chassis is also black. The red winch is housed on a brown-planked effect flatbed and a roof beacon features on the raised section behind the cab. Additional lettering/numbering is printed in red, including the trade plates numbered 065 AK and the model is rounded off with silver and black masking.

Oxford Diecast Bradford AEC Matador Wrecker – 1:76 Scale

Manufacturer part number 76AEC013, representing the British Railways Early Crest era. The model depicts an AEC Matador wrecker in Bradford City Transport’s bright yellow and red livery, with the city crest on the sides and above the cab window.
