The Consett Ore wagon was built for the conveyance of iron Ore from Tyne Dock to Consett specially constructed wagons of 56 tons capacity have been provided. Each wagon is fitted with the vacuum automatic brake and four power-operated side discharge doors which are under the control of the train locomotive driver.

These operated with the Q7, 9F and then the class 24

The set comprises three weathered‑finish iron‑ore wagons modelled after the British Railways Late Crest period. The manufacturer part number is KRM‑CON‑OO‑G‑W. Availability is expected in Q1 2026, subject to change at the manufacturer's discretion.

These wagons represent the Consett ore wagons built to transport iron ore from Tyne Dock to Consett. Each wagon has a 56‑ton capacity, is fitted with a vacuum automatic brake and four power‑operated side‑discharge doors that are controlled by the locomotive driver. The wagons were used with Q7, 9F and later Class 24 locomotives.
