The Consett Ore wagon was built for the conveyance of iron Ore from Tyne Dock to Consett specially constructed wagons of 56 tons capacity have been provided. Each wagon is fitted with the vacuum automatic brake and four power-operated side discharge doors which are under the control of the train locomotive driver.

KR Models Set of 3 Consett Iron Ore Wagons – Pack I (With Load) – Weathered is a model railway kit representing a trio of British Railways late‑crest iron‑ore wagons. The kit is supplied in a weathered finish and carries the manufacturer part number KRM‑CON‑OO‑3I‑W.
Each wagon in the set is modelled after the 56‑ton capacity wagons used to transport iron ore from Tyne Dock to the steel works at Consett. They feature a vacuum automatic brake and four power‑operated side discharge doors that are controlled from the locomotive cab. The wagons were historically operated with Q7, 9F and later Class 24 diesel locomotives.
The three running numbers provided are B446009, B446013 (British Railways) and B446027.
