The Hornby TTS Sound Decoder – Hall Class (Manufacturer Part Number R7294) is an electronic module designed to add realistic sound effects to Hornby Hall Class model locomotives.
The decoder reproduces a range of authentic engine noises, including the whistle, chuffing and brake sounds, and can be operated via the Hornby TTS (Train Tracking System) controller. It is compatible with Hornby OO gauge Hall Class models that are fitted with a DCC decoder capable of handling the TTS interface.
Installation is carried out by inserting the module into the locomotive’s sound socket and connecting the appropriate wiring. Once fitted, the decoder enhances the model’s operation by providing a more immersive auditory experience for both collectors and railway enthusiasts.
