Hornby MHA ‘Coalfish’ Ballast Wagon – Three pack, modelled in the English, Welsh & Scottish Railway (EWS) livery. The wagons are presented in a pristine finish and represent the initial privatisation era.
Each wagon measures 119 mm in length, has a four‑wheel arrangement and a minimum curve radius of 1. The coupling system is NEM with a tension lock. All three wagons are painted in the EWS maroon livery.
The model is supplied as a ballast wagon (type MHA) and carries the manufacturer part number R6928. It was produced between 1997 and 2007 by RFS Doncaster, Wabtec Doncaster, EWS Margam and Marcroft Engineering, Stoke.
The product depicts the period of the initial privatisation of British rail freight, as used by the English, Welsh & Scottish Railway.
