Hornby Horse Boxes, three‑pack, GWR – Era 3 is a model railway set in OO gauge representing a trio of Great Western Railway horse boxes from the 1920s‑30s. Each wagon is painted in the GWR brown livery and carries the running numbers 554, 555 and 556. The first two boxes measure 90 mm in length, while the third is 157 mm long; all are fitted with NEM couplings and have a pristine finish.
The wagons are modelled after the original GWR Swindon‑built horse boxes used by the Great Western Railway during the Big Four period (LNER, LMS, GWR and SR). The set is supplied under Hornby part number R6883 and is intended for use on layouts portraying the early twentieth‑century British railway scene.
