A Closed Cover Truck (CCT) was a type of goods van used for transporting goods whilst keeping them protected from the wind and rain. Along with side doors, CCTs also featured opening ends which allowed them to be used to transport motor vehicles as well as parcel traffic.

Hornby LMS 4‑Wheeled CCT Van – Era 3 is a model of a closed‑cover goods van in brown livery. It measures 120 mm in length, has a minimum curve radius of the second radius (438 mm) and features a pristine finish. The model is recorded as running number N37131, uses a NEM coupling and represents the LMS bauxite livery for OO gauge. It carries the manufacturer part number R6640B and was built by Metro‑Cammell for the LMS batch, with later BR batches produced at Earlestown and Swindon Works between 1952 and 1957; the original LMS version dates from 1938.
The CCT (Closed Cover Truck) was a type of goods van designed to protect cargo from wind and rain. In addition to side doors, it had opening ends, enabling it to transport motor vehicles as well as parcels.
