The TTA tanker was a mainstay of cargo traffic in the latter half of the 20th century. 

It did not have a specific design, but had a specification which resulted in largely similar wagons from each company that made them. Initially designed to haul dangerous cargo such as fuel, the use of the wagons diversified as they came closer to withdrawal in the early 2000s. 

This triple pack of three TTA wagons are all decorated in detail carrying the eye-catching BP livery in green. Each newly tooled wagon has a detailed gantry on the top with ladders, sprung buffers and different running numbers to create an accurate rake.

Hornby's 2025 Range offers a triple pack of OO gauge BP TTA Tanker Wagon models. Each wagon is painted in BP's distinctive green livery and features a detailed gantry with ladders, as well as sprung metal buffers. The wagons have a length of 118mm, 120mm, and 120mm respectively, and are equipped with NEM couplings.

The models are representative of the British Rail Sectorisation period and are based on the British Rail TTA 40-49t GLW 'Monobloc' Tank classification. The wagons were used to transport a variety of cargo, including fuel, and were a common sight on the rail network in the latter half of the 20th century.

The TTA tanker wagons were not a specific design, but rather a specification that resulted in similar wagons being built by various manufacturers. They were initially designed for hauling hazardous cargo, but their use diversified as they neared retirement in the early 2000s.

Each wagon in the triple pack has a unique running number: 67766, 67767, and 67768. The models are part of Hornby's 2025 Range and are precision-crafted to provide an accurate representation of these iconic tankers.
