Manufacturer description

73964 'Jeanette' entered service on 8 May 1966 as E6031, being one of the second batch Type JB locomotives. Renumbered to 73124 from 1 January 1974 under TOPS, on 1 June 1987 the locomotive received the name 'London Chamber of Commerce' retaining this until 1 January 1996, although by this time the locomotive had been reclassified as Class 73/2 and numbered 73205.

Sold to GBRf from Gatwick Express, the locomotive was renamed on 12 October 2014 as 'Jeanette', hauling the 1Z84 'Electric Bluebirds on Tour' naming charter along with three other Class 73s.
