Hornby Collett 2‑8‑8T Class 72xx Freight Pack – Era 5 is a model railway offering that reproduces the Great Western Railway 7200 class 2‑8‑2T locomotive in a black livery with an early British Railways emblem. The model is finished in pristine condition, carries the running number 7224 and measures 180 mm in length. It is DCC ready with an 8‑pin socket, fitted with a 5‑pole skew‑wound motor, and uses NEM couplings. The minimum curve radius is the second radius of 438 mm; power is collected from the driving wheels only.

The pack also includes three wagons of varying plank configurations – a 3‑plank, a 6‑plank and a 7‑plank wagon – each finished pristinely. One wagon measuring 71 mm carries the running number 337, another carries 3262 and a third carries 106. All wagons are equipped with NEM/Tension‑lock couplings.

The prototype locomotive was built between 1934 and 1939 at GWR Swindon Works to the design of Charles Collett. A total of 54 units were produced for British Railways, bearing the late crest in the period represented by this model. The manufacturer part number for the set is R3670.
