Hornby RailRoad offers a model of the London, Midland & Scottish Railway Class 3F “Jinty” 0‑6‑0T locomotive, reference number 7109, in the Era 3 range. The model represents the “Big Four” period (LNER, LMS, GWR and SR) and is designed to loosely replicate the original locomotive built between 1924 and 1931 to a total of 422 units.
The model is finished in pristine condition with a black livery and carries the running number 7109. It measures 124 mm in length and uses a Type 7 motor; it does not incorporate DCC capability. The minimum curve radius is the 1st Radius of 371 mm, and power is drawn from all wheels. The locomotive is powered by steam in the prototype, was designed by Henry Fowler, and carries the manufacturer part number R3587.
