Heljan's Class 42 'Warship' V1 diesel locomotive is a detailed model of British Rail Blue-era 'Warship' locomotive No. D868, featuring a distinctive twin arrows logo on the side. The model is available in DCC Ready and DCC Sound versions.
The model features a range of separately switchable lights, including cab lights, engine room lights, red tail lights, and warm white marker lights, which can be operated on both ends of the locomotive. The headcode panel at the front of the model is also illuminated.
The model includes a range of detailed features, including a fully decorated cab interior, engine room detail, etched roof grilles, and tiny etched metal lifting eyes on the roof panels. The model also features metal handrails, fully detailed wheels, and all-wheel drive and pick-up.
Optional features include a full front skirt with complete bufferbeam detail and a pack of optional headcode discs for the V1 model. The locomotive is powered by a powerful central motor and includes a 21-pin DCC interface.
