The Heljan Class 42 'Warship' model in BR Blue SYP livery with number D831 is a diesel locomotive with DCC sound capabilities. This model represents the British Rail Blue period before the TOPS system was introduced. Features of the model include separately switchable lights for the cab, engine room, tail lights, and marker lights, as well as an illuminated headcode panel. The model also features factory-fitted twin speakers for sound reproduction and a fully detailed and decorated cab interior.
Additional details include etched roof grilles with fans, tiny etched metal lifting eyes, etched metal windscreen wipers, and metal handrails. The model also has fully detailed wheels, all-wheel drive and pick-up, and twin flywheels. The locomotive is powered by a central motor driving all axles. The model is equipped with a 21-pin DCC interface and comes with a pack of optional headcode discs and a separate speedometer cable.
