Model details

Heljan's Class 42 'Warship' locomotive in British Rail Blue (pre-TOPS) livery is available as No. D831 'Monarch'. This model features a range of lighting options, including separately switchable cab lights, engine room lights, tail lights, and marker lights, as well as an illuminated headcode panel.

The model is DCC ready with a 21-pin interface and features a powerful central motor driving all axles. It also includes factory-fitted twin speakers for excellent sound reproduction, with the option for DCC sound on all liveries. The locomotive is fully detailed and decorated, with a realistic cab interior and engine room, as well as etched roof grilles and windscreen wipers.

Other features include robust sprung oval buffers, NEM couplers, and optional full front skirt with complete bufferbeam detail. The model also includes fully detailed wheels, all-wheel drive and pick-up, and twin flywheels. A pack of optional headcode discs is included, along with a separate speedometer cable.
