The Heljan Class 42 'Warship' V1 model in BR Maroon SYP livery is a detailed representation of the diesel locomotive built by British Railways. The model features DCC capability and comes with a range of separately switchable lights, including cab lights, engine room lights, tail lights, and marker lights.
The model also includes an illuminated headcode panel and factory-fitted speakers for excellent sound reproduction. The DCC sound option is available on all liveries, although the specification for this is subject to confirmation. Other features include robust sprung oval buffers, NEM couplers, and a fully detailed and decorated cab interior as per the O gauge model.
The model includes a range of detailed components, such as etched roof grilles with fans visible underneath, tiny etched metal lifting eyes, and etched metal windscreen wipers. The model also features metal handrails, fully detailed wheels, and all-wheel drive and pick-up. The powerful central motor drives all axles.
