Model details

The Heljan Class 42 'Warship' V1 BR Green FYE 'Centaur' No D808 Diesel Locomotive is a model train available from the manufacturer Heljan. The locomotive is modelled in the late British Railways livery with a crest.

This model features a range of lighting options, including separately switchable cab lights, engine room lights, and tail lights, which are all warm white in colour. The model also comes with a factory-fitted sound system, which is DCC ready and includes twin speakers for excellent sound reproduction. The sound option is available on all liveries.

The model has a detailed interior, including a fully decorated cab and engine room. The roof features etched grilles with fans underneath and tiny etched metal lifting eyes on the roof panels. The model also has metal handrails, fully detailed wheels, and a central motor driving all axles. The DCC interface is a 21-pin model.

Optional extras available for this model include a full front skirt with complete bufferbeam detail, a pack of headcode discs, and a separate speedometer cable. The model also features NEM couplers in the front skirt with partial bufferbeam detail.
