The Heljan Class 42 'Warship' diesel locomotive is a limited edition model, exclusively available from Rails of Sheffield. This model features DCC sound functionality, allowing for a more immersive and authentic experience. The locomotive is decorated in British Railways Late Crest livery, representing the period from the mid-1960s.
The model boasts a range of detailed features, including separately switchable cab lights, engine room lights, and marker lights. The headcode panel is also illuminated, and the model is fitted with factory-installed twin speakers for superior sound reproduction. The DCC sound option is available across all liveries, although the specific details of this feature are still to be confirmed.
The model's interior is fully detailed, with a decorated cab interior and engine room detail visible behind the bodyside windows. Other notable features include etched roof grilles with fans underneath, tiny etched metal lifting eyes on the roof panels, and metal handrails.
