1:76 Scale model of a Class 42 Diesel Locomotive decorated in BR livery. This model features lots of expertly applied details as based on the prototype, a high level of body detail and excellent running characteristics.

Heljan's Class 42 'Warship' model in BR Green 'Sir Brian Robertson' livery, with number D800, is a limited edition release exclusive to Rails of Sheffield. This model is DCC sound equipped, featuring a range of lighting options, including separately switchable cab lights, engine room lights, tail lights, and marker lights. The headcode panel at the front of the locomotive is also illuminated.
The model features a fully detailed and decorated cab interior, as well as engine room detail behind the bodyside windows. Etched roof grilles with visible fans, tiny etched metal lifting eyes, and metal windscreen wipers are also included. The wheels are fully detailed, with all-wheel drive and pick-up, and the model features a powerful central motor driving all axles.
Other notable features include robust sprung oval buffers, NEM couplers in the front skirt with partial bufferbeam detail, and the option to add a full front skirt with complete bufferbeam detail. The model is equipped with twin flywheels and a 21-pin DCC interface. A pack of optional headcode discs for the V1 model is also included, as well as a separate speedometer cable.
