Heljan English Electric DP2 prototype model in British Rail Brunswick green, replicating the locomotive as it appeared from 1962 to 5 May 1965.
The model is DCC ready with a 21‑pin socket, fitted with power pickup on all wheels and a NEM/tension‑lock coupling. It is built to OO gauge, has a pristine finish, and carries the running number DP2.
Technical data include a Co‑Co wheel arrangement, diesel motive power, a minimum curve of 2nd radius (438 mm), and the manufacturer part number 4010. It represents the British Railways early crest period and is modelled after the original built by English Electric at the Vulcan Foundry in 1962.
