The Heljan model of GWR Class 1361 locomotive, numbered 1363, is presented in British Railways black livery with the late crest. It is geared for OO gauge, measures 105 mm in length and has a pristine finish. The model features a 6‑pin DCC ready socket, NEM couplings, a minimum curve radius of 371 mm (1st radius), and power pickup via all wheels. The locomotive is depicted as a 0‑6‑0ST steam engine.
The prototype was built by the Great Western Railway at Swindon in June 1910, designed by George Churchward, and a total of five were produced. It entered service with the Great Western Railway, later operated by British Railways, and was withdrawn in November 1962 after 52 years in service. The model’s manufacturer part number is 1304 and it represents the British Railways early crest period.
