Manufacturer description

Single track controller designed to sit inside a control panel. This controller has a rotating dial to control the speed of one locomotives and a DPDT switch on the circuit to control the direction of travel, you can also switch it to the center position to cut off the power to the track.

This controller also features Feedback control which allows the locomotive to stay the same speed while going up and down gradients. This handheld controller is not recommended for use with coreless design motors, DCC ready or N Gauge Models.

Gaugemaster Single Track Panel Mounted Controller with Feedback (manufacturer part number GMC‑UF) is a compact controller intended for installation within a control panel. Its dimensions are 65 mm wide, 50 mm deep and 90 mm high.

The unit provides a rotating dial to vary the speed of a single locomotive and a DPDT switch to select forward, reverse or a centre‑off position that cuts power to the track. Feedback control is built in to maintain a constant speed when the locomotive encounters gradients. The controller is not recommended for use with coreless design motors, DCC ready equipment or N‑Gauge models.

It can be powered from either the GMC‑M1 cased transformer or the GMC‑WM1 wall‑mounted transformer. Input voltage is 16 V AC, the controlled output is 12 V DC and the maximum current rating is 1.25 A.
