Manufacturer description

Double track controller designed to sit inside a control panel. This controller has two rotating dials to control the speed of two seperate locomotives and a DPDT switch on each circuit to control the direction of travel, you can also switch it to the centre position to cut off the power to the track.

This controller is also fitted with a Brake Simulator which allows the user to apply the brake to slow the locomotive down without altering the throttle.

Gaugemaster Twin Track Panel‑Mounted Controller with Simulation (part number GMC‑UDS) is a double‑track controller intended for installation inside a control panel. The unit measures 217 mm in width, 50 mm in depth and 105 mm in height.

It provides two separate rotating dials for speed control of two locomotives and a DPDT switch on each circuit to set direction of travel. The switches can be placed in a centre position to disconnect power from the track. A fitted brake simulator allows the user to apply braking to slow the locomotive without changing the throttle setting.

The controller can be powered from the GMC‑M1 cased transformer or the GMC‑WM1 wall‑mounted transformer. Electrical specifications are 16 V AC input, controlled output of two 12 V DC lines and a current rating of 1.25 A.
